Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name, place, or other term entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Campbell County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s privacy terms govern its handling of the submitted query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the details needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law. Avoid sending Social Security numbers, full dates of birth, medical facts, or other sensitive records through an ordinary message.
Technical Details Collected
Normal web-server, analytics, and security functions may collect limited technical information when a page loads. This data helps distinguish visits, measure performance, and diagnose faults. It may include:

- Browser name, browser version, and language settings
- Device category, operating system, and screen characteristics
- Pages viewed and the approximate time spent on them
- The referring website or link, when one is supplied

Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies may be used to understand how visitors move through the site and to support analytics or advertising functions. Most browsers let you erase or block cookies. Some features or preferences may work differently when storage is disabled.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used for limited operating and service purposes:
- Keeping pages available, responsive, and secure
- Sending a search request to the selected partner service
- Learning which Campbell County record topics visitors use
- Finding broken pages, errors, and other technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect general interests
Privacy Beyond This Website
Links may lead to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, Campbell court records, TDOC FOIL, VINE, BOP, ICE, other government portals, or independent search services. Once you follow a link, the destination’s own privacy notice and data practices apply. Campbell County Released Inmates does not set those policies.
Some advertising companies may use their own cookies or related technology to recognize activity across websites and select interest-based advertisements. That processing occurs on the advertiser’s systems, not on the local Campbell County Released Inmates server.
